Adapted from “The Phantom Rider,” which originally appeared the previous year in the first issue of the short-lived Lone Ranger pulp magazine. This is the true first printing, with tan cloth, maroon top stain, maroon illustrated end papers, and Paul Laune frontispiece. A strong VG+, some would say Near Fine. Lightly bumped corners, otherwise tight and clean. An excellent collector’s copy just waiting for a facsimile dust jacket.
