A fine post-World War II issue of this well-regarded “Thrilling Group” SF pulp, just entering its peak period. Manly Wade Wellman contributes an excellent Captain Future novel, “The Solar Invasion.” Backup stories by henry Kuttner, Francis Flagg, and others. Cover by Earle Bergey. Condition: Fine to Fine Plus. A few tiny nicks on front cover’s bottom edge (see scan), otherwise a clean, tight copy with brightly colored spine. Text block is very lightly and evenly yellowed, and supple. The penciled “W” can be erased if done carefully.
