Excellent issue of this long-running, top-selling crime pulp from its peak period. The cover (see scan) lists some of the genre heavyweights represented in this number. Cover by Walter Baumhofer. Condition: This is essentially a Fine copy with two significant defects: a diagonal crease on front cover’s bottom right corner (again, see scan) and small but unnecessary pieces of tape reinforcing the top and bottom edges of both inside front and inside back covers. Otherwise this is a clean, bright copy with complete spine and generally clean back cover. Text block is very lightly yellowed but supple. Still a quite collectable copy.
