BLUE BOOK, September 1931, E. R. Burroughs

Excellent “bedsheet” issue of this great pulp-fiction magazine, among the handful of essential titles in the field. Standouts are the concluding installment of ERB’s “Land of Hidden Men” (published in hardcover as Jungle Girl) and the novelette “Big Enough” by famed cowboy author and artist Will James. But there are over a dozen more yarns by such popular Blue Book regulars as Beatrice Grimshaw, Clarence Herbert New, Bertram Atkey, Arthur Akers, Seven Anderton, and Valentine Williams. Cover by Laurence Herndon.

Condition: Fine. A couple minor scratches in front cover (see scan), one tiny nick in spine; otherwise a clean, tight glossy copy with complete spine and lightly yellowed but supple text block. The Blue Book bedsheet issues from this period usually turn up with more use; this one is way above the average.
