Reading, PA: Fantasy Press, 1949. Cloth in dust jacket. First edition. One of the early superstars of pulp SF, Weinbaum died tragically young, accounting for his relatively small output. This edition collects roughly half of his novelettes and short stories, the title yarn being the story for which Weinbaum is best remembered. Condition: Very Good Plus to Near Fine in Very Good Plus jacket. The book is tight and clean. The jacket has a bit of rubbing to the front cover and a few tiny nicks to spine head and heel panels. White back-cover panel is lightly dust-soiled with a small closed tear in top edge.
