THRILLING WONDER STORIES, December 1937

Early issue from the “Thrilling Group” incarnation of this pioneering SF pulp, which began life in 1929, under Hugo Gernsback, titled Wonder Stories. Thrilling editors made it more lively and introduced many new writers to its pages, among them this issue’s John W. Campbell, Ralph Milne Farley, Edmund Hamilton, Robert Moore Williams, Paul Ernst, and Willy Ley. Condition: Very Fine to Very Fine Minus. Practically no signs of wear at all. Covers and spine are complete, brightly colored, and glossy. There’s some minor age-related darkening to inside front and back covers. Text block is lightly and evenly tanned but supple. Overall an excellent copy.
