Great early issue of this Munsey pulp reprinting fantasy and horror classics from earlier pulp mags. Highlights are Ray Cummings’ book-length novel “A Brand New World” and Guy de Maupassant’s classic short story “The Horla.” Cover and interior illos by Virgil Finlay. Condition: Near Fine. Minor handling wear, two small abrasions on front cover (see scan). Spine head has an abrasion obscuring the “S” in “Sept.” Very light rubbing along front-cover spine hinge. Text block is creamy and supple.
