DIME WESTERN, May 1934

Early issue of this best-selling Popular Publications title, a consistent reader favorite over its long (22 years) existence. The usual top-notch contributors—Walt Coburn, Harry F. Olmsted, Cliff Farrell, et al—are here, along with one of E. B. Mann’s adventures of “The Whistler.” Cover by Walter Baumhofer. Condition: This is a tough one to grade, but Near Fine should cover it. No major defects, but the magazine has obviously been read more than once. Tiny chip out of front cover at spine head (see scan). Minor soiling to front and back covers. Small diagonal corner crease on back cover’s lower left edge. Spine is complete. Text block is off-white to lightly yellowed but supple. Overall a perfectly sound, collectable copy. These very early issues of DIME WESTERN are becoming increasingly uncommon.
