XENOPHILE, July 1977, #33, Popular Publications tribute

Arguably the best issue of this hugely influential fanzine, which started as an adzine for collectors but rapidly expanded to include well-researched articles about pulps and books. The July 1977 number is devoted to a lengthy survey of and tribute to Popular Publications, with the major article being an extensive interview with company president Harry Steeger. Also features a complete listing (then a novelty in itself) of Popular’s pulps. Condition: Fine/Very Fine. Semi-slick color cover is exceptionally clean. Very slight discoloration to newsprint text block. A beautiful copy.
