UNKNOWN WORLDS, February 1943, all-star lineup, Fafhrd & Grey Mouser

This Street & Smith fantasy pulp, a sister magazine to Astounding Science Fiction (also edited by John W. Campbell), maintained such a high average in its fiction that it’s hard to call one issue superior to another. But this one is definitely a pip, containing stories by Fredric Brown, Henry Kuttner, A. E. van Vogt, Fritz Leiber Jr. (one of his “Fahfrd and the Grey Mouser” yarns), Cleve Cartmill, and others. Condition: Very Good Plus. Unknown‘s wartime “bedsheet” issues got a good deal of use and frequently turn up in this grade. No serious defects, just a small chip out of back cover and a few closed tears, including one along bottom of rear spine hinge. Text block lightly but evenly yellowed.
