UNKNOWN, June 1941, Sturgeon, Leiber

Strong issue of John W. Campbell’s exemplary fantasy pulp. Theodore Sturgeon contributes two stories (one under his E. Waldo Hunter byline) and there’s one of Fritz Leiber’s Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser yarns, in addition to other tales mentioned on the cover (see scan). Condition: Fine. Generally very clean but with a small spot of foxing and a tint diagonal crease on the front cover’s lower right corner. Text block is evenly tanned but very supple with shiny staples. A great issue to have if you’re just looking for a representative sample.
