THE THRILLER, March 3, 1934
This British story paper was the closest thing that country had to an American crime pulp; in fact, it occasionally reprinted yarns from U.S. pulps including The Shadow. Always uncommon here, copies of The Thriller are now positively rare, especially in high grade. Contents always included a long novelette (pictured on the cover), one short story or serial installment, and a department or two. Each issue is profusely illustrated with pen-and-ink drawings. Covers sported two-color illustrations. Each issue measures 9 x 11 1/2 inches. Condition: Fine, which is exceptionally high grade for this fragile newsprint publication. Only flaw is minor discoloration due to staple oxidation (see scan).
