STAR WESTERN, August 1935

Solid early issue of Popular Publications’ second best Western pulp (Dime Western being the best), with stories by all the “usual suspects” except Walt Coburn, who must have taken a week off. Cover by Emery Clarke. Condition: except for some minor tattering of the front cover’s right edge (see scan), this copy grades Fine. Clean, bright, glossy. Text block is lightly yellowed and a little tanned around the edges, but not brittle or flaky. Issues of Star Western from the mid ’30s are increasingly scarce, especially in nice shape.
