Seventh issue of this long-running Popular Publications title, its second-best seller in the genre after Dime Western. This number has the first of eight Max Brand stories published in Star Western, along with yarns by the magazine’s other top contributors. Cover by Emmett Watson. Condition: Very Good to Very Good Plus. No major defects but considerable light handling wear and a two-inch separation of the front cover from the spine at bottom. Text block is lightly yellowed but supple. In recent years these 1934 issues of Star have become very scarce in any condition.
