A biography of Frederick Faust, “King of the Pulps” known under more than a half dozen pseudonyms, most prominent among them being Max Brand. The author, Robert Easton, was Faust’s son-in-law and draws upon family records and photographs for his account of this legendary writer’s colorful life. Condition: About Fine in Near Fine jacket. Book itself is clean and tight but has minor sun fade to spine panel. Jacket (marked “Second Printing”) has some rubbing to front panel (see scan) but otherwise is clean and unfaded.
