MAGAZINES I REMEMBER, Hugh B. Cave pulp history

Tattered Pages Press, 1994 trade paperback. First edition. This incomparable fictioneer, who penned pulp stories in almost every single genre over a two-decade period and late in life revived his writing career, presents a first-hand history of rough-paper craftsmanship in this epistolary account: the book mostly takes the form of correspondence between Cave and fellow pulpster Carl Jacobi, who became life-long friends. Fascinating from first page to last, with lots of behind-the-scenes info conveyed in those letters. Long out of print, but still a much-desired item among pulp-fiction aficionados.  Condition: As New, unread copy.
