Good wartime issue of this exemplary crime/detective pulp, the highlight being “The Day Nobody Died,” one of D. L. Champion’s outstanding Inspector Allhoff yarns. Condition: Very Good Plus  or slightly better. A well-read copy with general handling wear but no major flaws. Initials on front cover over girl’s face. Spine is complete with bright colors. Newsstand stamp on upper back cover. Shallow chip on front cover bottom near spine (see scan). Text block is very lightly yellowed but supple. NOTE: Front-cover wrinkles near spine are much more obvious in scan than they are on the magazine itself.
