ASTOUNDING STORIES, September 1934

An early issue from Street & Smith’s lengthy run of this influential SF title. The main attractions are the second installment of “Doc” Smith’s “Skylark of Valeron” and the concluding installment of Jack Williamson’s “Legion of Space.” Cover by Howard V. Brown. Condition: Very Good Plus. Basically a solid copy—clean, tight, glossy. But the cover’s top overhang is mostly gone, and the text block’s top edge is soiled. Also, the back cover has a diagonal crease. Spine is complete and white. Text block is lightly yellowed, darker along the top edge as noted. Overall a very nice copy of an issue from Astounding‘s formative period.
