Featuring the first installment of “The Cometeers,” Jack Williamson’s first sequel to his 1934 classic “The Legion of Space.” Williamson signed this copy on page 6, just above the Marchioni full-page illustration for “Cometeers.” Other stories by John Russell Fearn, Frank Belknap Long, Eando Binder, and John W. Campbell (writing as Don A. Stuart). Cover by Howard V. Brown. An outstanding issue of this legendary SF pulp, one of the first to sport trimmed edges. Condition: Would grade About Fine but for water stain on lower back cover that is visible on corners of the magazine’s last 30 pages or so. Otherwise just light handling wear. Text block is off-white to very lightly yellowed.
