AMAZING STORIES, December 1944, early Ray Bradbury

Jumbo-sized (212 pages) wartime issue of the first science-fiction pulp magazine, at this juncture published by Ziff-Davis and edited by first-generation SF fan Ray Palmer. The distinguishing feature of this number is “Undersea Guardians,” an early yarn by Ray Bradbury. Other familiar SF authors in the issue include Emil Petaja, Don Wilcox, and Stanton Coblentz. Condition: Very Good to Very Good Plus. Front cover pretty clean but for some edge wear. Back cover has several short closed tears and a small chip out of bottom edge. Spine complete. Text block is yellowed, slightly darker on top edge. Still a decent collectable copy.
