WONDER STORIES, December 1935

One of the last issues of this title published by SF pioneer Hugo Gernsback, who sold it off to Ned Pines’ Standard Publications, which renamed it Thrilling Wonder Stories. The author lineup is nondescript except for fan-turned-pro Ray Palmer, who would quit writing fiction two years hence to assume the editorship of Amazing Stories for new owner Ziff-Davis. Cover and interior illustrations by Frank R. Paul. Condition: Fine, with barely perceptible cover crease. Spine bright and blood red with white lettering, back cover clean, text block very lightly yellowed but supple. A sharp copy.
