THRILLING MYSTERY, Fall 1943, Green Ghost novel

Launched in 1935 as a “weird menace” title, Thrilling Mystery in the early Forties segued into straight crime fiction. This scarce wartime issue features as its lead story “The Case of the Broken Broom,” a Green Ghost mystery (second to last with this character) by G. T. Fleming-Roberts. Dale Clark, Allan K. Echols, and Lawrence Donovan are among the other detective-fiction scribes with yarns in this issue.  Condition: Very Good Plus.  There are some markings on the front cover (see scan) and minor soiling to the back cover.  Spine is complete and brightly colored.  Text block is lightly yellowed but very supple.
