GEORGE BRUCE’S CONTACT, November 1933 (#4)

Fourth issue of this scarce and short-lived Adventure House pulp, which traded on the popularity of genre mainstay Bruce by putting his name in the magazine’s title as well as giving him the lead story. Other well-known aviation writers in this issue include Robert Burtt (creator and chief writer of radio’s Captain Midnight, Sky King, and The Air Adventures of Jimmie Allen), Robert Sidney Bowen, and Archibald Johnston. Cover by Eugene Frandzen. Condition: Good/Very Good. Overall a clean, tight copy.  Spine is complete but very slightly faded. Typical overhang wear, but no chips. Text block is tanned with brown edges; some flaking to shagged edges.
