BLACK BOOK DETECTIVE, Spring 1945, Black Bat novel

Featuring the 32nd Black Bat novel, “The Marked Man,” by G. Wayman Jones (house name used by Norman Daniels).  Condition: Very Good Plus/Near Fine. Minor overhang tears but no major flaws. Spine is complete and bright.  Text block is lightly yellowed but supple.  Late WWII-vintage issues are rarely found in high grade because wartime paper restrictions had forced a reduction to 80 pages, and with the magazine so slender the spines frequently bowed over the years.  This copy is one of the better surviving examples I’ve come across.
