ALL NOVELS MAGAZINE, August 1938, first issue

There were only two issues of this scarce Ace pulp, which published five “novels” in five genres: Crime, war, sports, Western, and Northwestern. E. Hoffmann Price has the lead story a high-adventure yarn, and F. E. Rechnitzer contributes the air-war story.  The other three appear under Ace house names. Cover by Norman Saunders. Condition: Chip out of spine near bottom, and totally unnecessary clear tape reinforcing the edges of inside front and back covers. (Tape does not show through, however.) Otherwise this copy would easily grade Fine. Text block is cream with an ever-so-slight hint of yellowing. Partial reader crease visible on front cover. Still a very sharp copy of this quite incommon magazine.
